The St. Lucie County public library system is expanding and revamping in Port St. Lucie. The library on Prima Vista is only open Wednesdays and Fridays while it is being remodeled. Joining the system will be a new library in the old Police substation on Rosser Blvd. just south of Sam’s Club. Meanwhile, the joint library (with IRSC) is still available at  500 N.W. California Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Florida 34986, just north of University Drive.

Did you know that you can check out e-books online? As long as you have a library card and are logged into the system you can download them to your e-reader or computer. After two weeks they “disappear” to be placed back into circulation for other patrons to enjoy. Check out their website at:  http://www.stlucieco.gov/library/index.htm

As a busy realtor, of course I am hooked into technology as much as possible, so books that I download to my kindle are also available to me to read (and synced to whatever device I was using last) on my:  phone, Kindle, laptop computer and netbook!  Whew!
